You can collect one letter or the entire alphabet or you can spell a word, a name or a monogram. There's lots of creative things you can do with this alphabet!

It was quite a project to create this. When I thought about someone wanting to spell a name, I realized you probably wouldn't want to use the same letters if a name had duplicate letters soooooo I ended up creating about 43 different letters. It took almost a year to complete.

Because each letter was painted entirely by hand there may be a little difference in background or letter color or even in the signature. It all depended on how the lightly tinted background or the navy letters blended that day.

Sherry Dole's light-hearted, whimsical style illustrates her great loves of nature, animals and the environment. Although she has been a passionately creative person all of her life, Sherry actually had no real formal training. She pursued a career as a corporate fashion buyer for years until she was sufficiently fed up with the "corporate" part of the deal. Embarking on a career as a professional artist in South Mississippi can be a bit daunting and Sherry had her family of 2 dogs and 4 cats to feed so she found herself accepting all sorts of art jobs-from hand painting clothing to designing logos to creating event posters.
