Thankfully, this big fellow was just passing through when he visited my Wildwoods Garden. I think he said he was his way to a football game or maybe it was basketball.
This was his expression when I asked him to pose for a quick reference photo so I could paint his portrait. He promised me he was smiling, but he left me wondering about that...

Sherry Dole's light-hearted, whimsical style illustrates her great loves of nature, animals and the environment.
