When she was a very tiny baby chimp, her father sang to her every day.
Their favorite song was "You Are My Sunshine", so Sunny she became and she loves everything representing the sun.
She's especially fond of sunflowers & never misses the chance to decorate herself with them.
Sunny often has tea with me in my Wild Garden.

Sherry Dole's light-hearted, whimsical style illustrates her great loves of nature, animals and the environment. Although she has been a passionately creative person all of her life, Sherry actually had no real formal training. She pursued a career as a corporate fashion buyer for years until she was sufficiently fed up with the "corporate" part of the deal. Embarking on a career as a professional artist in South Mississippi can be a bit daunting and Sherry had her family of 2 dogs and 4 cats to feed so she found herself accepting all sorts of art jobs-from hand painting clothing to designing logos to creating event posters.
