Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus take a break to read letters from children all over the world. (Note: The beautiful family who purchased my original painting of this image had to wait 7 months for it to be completed, then had it framed & hung in their breakfast nook for their grandchildren to enjoy while visiting for Christmas. They loved it so much, they've never put it away with the Christmas decorations. Now, all through the year, the children play "I spy a .." with it! This is why I put so much detail and love into all of my paintings.
About Sherry Dole
Sherry Dole's light-hearted, whimsical style illustrates her great loves of nature, animals and the environment. Although she has been a passionately creative person all of her life, Sherry actually had no real formal training. She pursued a career as a corporate fashion buyer for years until she was sufficiently fed up with the "corporate" part of the deal. Embarking on a career as a professional artist in South Mississippi can be a bit daunting and Sherry had her family of 2 dogs and 4 cats to feed so she found herself accepting all sorts of art jobs-from hand painting clothing to designing logos to creating event posters.
