Pelicans are loved in every coastal region where they usually are busily fishing and tending to their young. Occasionally you might meet one who has a bit of extra time to pursue other activities. I met this guy just after Mardi Gras as he was sorting through his treasures from the parades.

Sherry Dole's light-hearted, whimsical style illustrates her great loves of nature, animals and the environment. Although she has been a passionately creative person all of her life, Sherry actually had no real formal training. She pursued a career as a corporate fashion buyer for years until she was sufficiently fed up with the "corporate" part of the deal. Embarking on a career as a professional artist in South Mississippi can be a bit daunting and Sherry had her family of 2 dogs and 4 cats to feed so she found herself accepting all sorts of art jobs-from hand painting clothing to designing logos to creating event posters.
