Annie and Hank dropped by to see me while they were touring the USA on their honeymoon.

They made such a lovely couple, they graciously posed for me so I could paint their portrait.

While I was painting, they told me that the folks at home were a tad unhappy about their marriage because it seems ole Hank was already married when he met Annie.

His first wife was a sweet Cocker Spaniel named Kathy and well, things became a bit sticky.

Things seem to be ok now though, and Hank says he and Annie will be married forever!

Sherry Dole's light-hearted, whimsical style illustrates her great loves of nature, animals and the environment. Although she has been a passionately creative person all of her life, Sherry actually had no real formal training. She pursued a career as a corporate fashion buyer for years until she was sufficiently fed up with the "corporate" part of the deal. Embarking on a career as a professional artist in South Mississippi can be a bit daunting and Sherry had her family of 2 dogs and 4 cats to feed so she found herself accepting all sorts of art jobs-from hand painting clothing to designing logos to creating event posters.
